Short-Term Medical

Outside of PPO Plans, you may elect to have coverage for just a short period of time. The Short Term Medical Plan provides coverage for a specific number of months, usually two to twelve. This type of insurance offers basic indemnity with basic deductibles and co-insurance; they cover no pre-existing conditions.

This is a great option for people in between health insurance plans; for instance graduating college students, people ineligible for COBRA, retirees waiting for government benefits qualification or people waiting to become eligible for group plans with their or a spouse's employer.
