The Lawyers' Loss Prevention Hotline is:

• Designed to help our insured lawyers – Lawyers insured with the ISBA Insurance Program have free access to our Lawyers’ Loss Prevention Hotline when they simply need to speak with someone live, even if the matter may be minor. An early call to the hotline about a mistake or problem may enable the hotline lawyer to take action or provide guidance that will help you avoid a claim being made against you.
• Confidential – Hotline lawyers do not notify the ISBA Insurance Program or Westport of the identity of the lawyers who call the hotline.
• Costs you nothing – If you are insured with the ISBA Insurance Program, Westport Insurance Corporation pays for the hotline consultation. No charges are made against your deductible or policy.
• Optional – There is no requirement to use the hotline. However, the value of hotline consultations is well established.
